Our events exhibit high quality art in a welcoming and creative atmosphere to offer a new and striking cultural experience for the audience.

Muralism
„To imagine a city also means to participate in public places.“ (Pelin Tan)
Urban Stylistix invites local and international artists to create large-scale mural paintings in the city of Amsterdam. A concept is developed for each wall together with the artist and in specific occasions with in cooperation others such as the neighbourhood, city council, local housing corporations or other interested parties.

> Muralism within the concept of “Urban Regeneration”
The goal is to visually improve, embellish and emphasize a location, to give it expression, make it alive and make it available to all audiences. For example, mural paintings are for instance developed together with the residents of a neighbourhood and enhance identification of local people with their surrounding and living area.

> Muralism within the context of “Democratic Art & Urban Museum”
In the long run, these works will remain to embellish the city, with a sense of exchange and sharing. And little by little, an open gallery will be set up, in the manner of an «urban museum».
